Michael W. Madden, 64, of Manchester, died unexpectedly on May 16, 2021.
Born in Manchester on September 27, 1956, he was the son of the late William J. "Whiff" and Bridget (Joyce) Madden, Jr. He attended Memorial High School and was a lifelong resident of the Queen City.
Michael loved sports and was a very competitive bowler. He also loved to play cards. He was very family oriented and spending time with his family was what was most important to him. He was a very generous and kind man who would give you the shirt off of his back. Above all else, he will be remembered as a caring and loving brother, nephew, uncle, cousin & friend.
Michael is survived by his five siblings, Maureen Madden of Manchester, Kevin P. Madden and wife Gwyn of Manchester, John A. Madden and wife Carol of Manchester, William J. Madden III and significant other Chrisanne Proulx of Manchester, and James F. Madden of Hooksett; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, both here and across the pond. He was predeceased by both parents.
SERVICES: A calling hour will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, on Friday, at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday at St. Lawrence Church, 1E Union St., Goffstown, NH 03045. Burial to follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Goffstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Salvation Army, 121 Cedar St., Manchester, NH 03101.
