Michael R. Williams, 77, of Manchester died March 9th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Manchester on June 10, 1946, he was the son of Lawrence and Lillian (Boillard) Williams. He graduated from Bishop Bradley High School.
Prior to retirement, he had been employed in the telecommunications industry for many years.
Michael loved to hunt, fish and garden and was a longtime member of the Pointers Fish & Game Club. He was also a member of the American Legion Sweeney Post #2 and the Raphael Club.
He was predeceased by his grandson, Joshua Boucher and brother, Leonard Williams.
Family members include his wife of nearly 58 years, Nancy (Riley) Williams of Manchester; his son, Randy Michael Williams and wife Tierney of Bedford; his daughter, Christine Carol Boucher and husband Glen A. of Manchester; his grandchildren, Rachel Williams, Jacob Boucher, Jonathan Boucher, Paige Williams and Evan Williams; great-grandchildren, Raymond Michael and Georgia; one sister, June Lamy and husband Denis; several nephews, nieces, in-laws, cousins and friends.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Derryfield Country Club.
