Millie L. Coderre

Millie L. (Szarek) Coderre, 80, of Manchester died August 14, 2005 at Elliot Hospital after a sudden illness.

Born in Manchester on January 6, 1925, she was the daughter of Joseph and Magdeleine (Wuodyla) Szarek. She lived all of her life in Manchester and Bedford.

She was a graduate of Central High School in 1942 and was the last survivor of 13 Szarek children.

Mrs. Coderre had worked for several years at Lady Grace Apparel and Campus Bookstore both in Manchester.

She was married to Fernand E. "Mickey" Coderre who died in 1980.

IN HER LIFE: The family includes a son, Capt. David M. Coderre, USN and his wife, Kathleen of Jacksonville, FL and Arlington, VA; a daughter, Gail L. Wheeler and her husband, David of Manchester. She was a devoted grandmother to Alexa and Megan Wheeler both of Manchester. She also has many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Thursday August 18, 2005 in the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Cooper officiating. The burial was private and was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
