Muriel R. (Samson) Cyr, 95, of Bedford, died January 28, 2019 at Ridgewood Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Topsham, ME on December 29, 1923 to Alphonse and Laura (Desjardin) Samson. She lived in Bedford for most of her life and also in Florida and California.
Muriel had worked at Manchester area mills in her younger years and was a former communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford.
She was predeceased by her husband, George G. Cyr in 1983 and by two brothers, Reginald Samson and Fred Samson.
The family includes four children, Donald Cyr and his wife, Jaki, of Summerfield, FL, Joann Fletcher of Palm Springs, CA, Richard Cyr of Las Vegas, NV and Michael Cyr of Bedford; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There are no services planned at this time. A private family celebration of Muriel's life will take place this coming summer.
