Muriel E. Driscoll, 93, of Manchester died on December 1, 2018 at Courville Nursing Home. She was born on March 10, 1925 in Cambridge, MA, to John and Catherine (Coffey) Stone.
Muriel was educated in the Roslindale, MA school system. She worked as a bookkeeper for Phillips Andover Academy from 1968-1972, and then for a family restaurant until 1981.
She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and hiking. She was involved with the Senior Center at The Y in Concord, taught grandchildren to Cross Country ski at 65. She was very active, social, and thoughtful. She was a devoted family woman who will be greatly missed.
Muriel was predeceased by her husband Edward Thomas Driscoll in 1981.
She is survived by her daughters Susan Leonard of Gorham, Jan Driscoll of Manchester, Carol Szot and her husband Paul of Newton, MA, and Barbara Driscoll of Brookline, MA; sons Edward Driscoll and his wife Heidi of North Hampton, NH and Paul Driscoll of Andover, MA; grandchildren Andrea Duarte and her husband Jon of Yarmouth, ME, Geoffrey Leonard and his wife Rebecca of Wilmington, MA, Amy Raposa and her husband Phil if Warwick, RI, Christopher Driscoll and his wife Julie of Hudson, NH and Andrew Driscoll of Derry, NH; great grandchildren Adam Duarte, Ryan Duarte both of Yarmouth, ME, Caitlin Leonard and Matthew Leonard of Wilmington, MA, and Jack and Gabe Raposo of Warwick, RI.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at St. Peters Church, 567 Manchester Rd. Auburn, NH. Committal prayers followed at Ridgewood Cemetery, 177 Salem St., North Andover, MA 01845.
