Muriel "Connie" (Pichette) Luis, 91, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2020 after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on July 28, 1929 and was the daughter of Gerard R. and Valeda (Breton) Pichette. She lived in Manchester for most of her life.
Connie worked at Hampshire Designers and retired from NYNEX/Verizon Telephone Company in 1991. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Primetime and the former Socialites.
She was predeceased by her parents; her beloved son, John Mercier in 2018: her brother, Gerard N. Pichette who passed at the age of four; two sisters, Lorraine Plourde and Sr. Vivian Pichette, CSC.
The family includes three grandchildren, Noah and Joel Mercier of Manchester and Quinn Mercier of Auburn; two sisters, Madeleine Deshaies and her husband, Richard, of Litchfield and Claire Dorval of Bedford; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to the staff of Maple Leaf Health Care Center and VNA Hospice of Manchester for their loving care and compassion.
SERVICES: At Connie's request, there are no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
