Muriel “Mikki” (Myre) Margaritis, age 86, a lifelong resident of Manchester, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Eliot Hospital following a period of declining health. She was the widow of Robert M. Margaritis who passed in 2006, and Warren R. Guptill who passed in 2018.
She was born May 26, 1940 in Manchester, NH to the late Sarto & Flora (Champagne) Myre.
Prior to her retirement, she worked in housekeeping at the former Notre Dame Hospital for several years. She was also an active parishioner of St. Marie Parish, where she would volunteer for various Parish activities. She served on the Grieving Ministry, and the Eucharistic Outreach Program.
Mikki enjoyed reading, shopping, and traveling in Maine, especially the beaches. She enjoyed all the holidays, especially Easter, often spending Greek Easter with the Karinikas Family.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam and her partner Ben, Michelle and husband Ken; Warren’s daughter, Pat and her husband Rick; Grandchildren, Eric and his wife Christina, Tricia, Joshua and his wife Mallory, Genesis and her partner Andrew, Ginger and her partner Ken, Matthew and his wife Heidi, Grace, and Phoebe and her husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Bridget, Jacob, Dante, Warren and Sophia-Mae; also several nieces, nephews & cousins. She was the mother of the late Christopher Margaritis (1990) and Marie Holt (1961); and sister of the late Robert Myre.
A special thank you to the Paul Jones Family, especially Hallie and Jalen; and to all of Chris’s friends who stayed in touch.
SERVICES – At her request, a private burial will take place at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104.
