Nancy E. Leary

Born in Cambridge, MA on August 25, 1932, she was the daughter of Robert and Kathryn (Perkins) Penney. She grew up in Arlington, MA then lived in Bedford, MA 15 years before moving to Bedford, NH 35 years ago.

Mrs. Leary was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford and was a member of that parish's woman's guild and the parish council. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends.

She was predeceased by a son, William M. Leary in 2002 and by her husband, Arthur J. Leary in 2005.

The family includes four children, Ann Marie Kelly of Southampton, MA, Mary Beth Purcell of Bedford, James A. Leary of Weare and Thomas P. Leary of Manchester; 11 grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday May 8, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Committal prayers followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
