Nancy H. Mroz

Nancy H. Mroz, 57, of Manchester, died June 25, 2006, at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born in Manchester, March 29, 1949, and was the daughter of Joseph L. and Helen C. (Kwarciany) Mroz, Sr. She was a graduate of Manchester Central High School, class of 1967. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

Miss Mroz worked in Dietetic Services at the Veterans Administration Medical Center for 26 years. She participated in the STEPS Program at Easter Seals.

She was a communicant of St. Marie Church.

She liked watching figure skating on television as well as attending figure skating shows. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending family gatherings. She loved dogs, enjoyed reading, gardening and collecting stuffed animals. She also enjoyed car rides through the White Mountains of NH.

She leaves her mother, Helen C. (Kwarciany) Mroz of Manchester; two brothers, Dr. Frank M. Mroz and his wife Paula, of Bangor, ME, and Joseph L. Mroz, Jr. of Manchester; two nieces, Katherine Mroz, Caroline Mroz, both of Bangor, ME; a nephew, Matthew Mroz of Bangor, ME.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, June 30, 2006 at St. Marie Church. Rev. Marc Montminy was the celebrant. Burial followed in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, where Father Montminy conducted the committal service at the graveside.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, was in charge of arrangements.
