She was born in Arlington, MA, on November 21, 1937, the daughter of James and Helen F. (Spencer) Roche. She was educated in the Arlington school system.
Prior to her illness, she had been active as a volunteer for Primetime at the Catholic Medical Center.
Nancy enjoyed watching sporting events, especially the Red Sox, Patriots, and NASCAR racing. She liked to crochet, sew, and travel. Above all else, she loved and cherished her children and grandchildren, whom she was very proud of.
She was predeceased by her husband Henry J. Richer in 1995.
Members of her family include children, David Richer of Manchester, Karen Bourgeois and her husband Dennis of Manchester, Diane Conley of Hopkinton, NH, Scott Richer of Goffstown, and Mark Richer of Nashua; daughter-in-law, Cindy Richer; son-in-law, Grant Conley; grandchildren, Alisha and her husband David Nagle, Timothy Bourgeois, Jeremy Richer, Nathaniel Conley, Courtney Richer, Juliana Conley, Brittany Richer, Corinne Conley, and Nicholas Richer; beloved niece, Laura Lee Sandberg of Atlanta; beloved cousins, Janet, Barbara, and Bobby.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Anne-St. Augustin Church on Monday November 19, 2007 with the Rev. John Gallagher officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
