Neil A. Sieminski

Neil A. Sieminski, 66, of Candia, died December 22, 2004, at the Elliot Hospital, after a long illness.

Born July 2, 1938, in Phillipsburg New Jersey, he was the son of Watson and Erma (Perusello) Sieminski. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1962 with a degree in Economics and in 1965 earned a Masters degree in Urban Planning from Cornell University. He had been a Candia resident the past 30 years.

He retired in 1994 from the Federal Agency of Housing and Urban Development where he worked many years

He was a Candia selectman from 1989 to 1991 and later served on the planning board before returning as selectman in 2002.

Fishing was his passion, as well as claming and his dogs. Enjoying the outdoors, he made his own maple syrup in his backyard.

Family members include his wife Carole (Higgins) Sieminski, of Candia; 3 daughters, Marianne Marshall, of Royal Oak MI, Elaine Sieminski, of Farmington Hills, MI, Christine Sieminski, of Manchester; three step children, William Blake of Waterboro ME, Erin Blake of Hooksett, Barbara Blake of Chester; six grandchildren; several cousins.

A memorial Mass was celebrated Monday December 27, 2004 at St. Paul Church, Main St., Candia.

Burial was in Holbrook Cemetery, Candia.

Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St. Manchester, assisted the family with arrangements.
