Nicole M. Lacroix, 58 passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022, at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, New Hampshire after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Born in Saint-Hilaire de Dorset, Quebec, Canada on July 20, 1964, she spent most of her life in the Manchester, New Hampshire area. She graduated from Memorial High School. She received a degree in business from Southern New Hampshire University.
Nicole greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was always ready for a day at the beach. She loved the outdoors and traveling, especially with her dog Lola.
She was the daughter of Raymond and Brigitte (Laurendeau) Lacroix of Manchester.
Members of her family include her three children: Derek Gagnon and his wife Vanessa, Melanie Fredette and her husband Adam, and Jon-Luc Gagnon and his wife Samantha; her six grandchildren, Harvey, Henry, Nolan, Liam, Winona, and Althea; her siblings: His Eminence Gérald Cyprien Cardinal Lacroix, Yvan Lacroix and his partner Lisa, Richard Lacroix and his wife Anne, Suzanne Grenon and her husband Stephen, Sylvie Therrien and her husband Stephan, and Carolle Dachowski and her husband Jeffrey; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
She also considered Father Marcel Caron and Marguerite Cusson (predeceased) as siblings.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 2nd, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 172 Belmont St, Manchester, NH, on Monday, October 3rd, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum of Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition: give.ovarian.org.
