Norma C. (Jordan) Wiggin, 95, of Hooksett, died July 26, 2017 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center after a sudden illness.
She was born in North Stratford on February 23, 1922 to John and Ethera (Greenwood) Jordan. From Whitefield originally, her home later became Hooksett.
Norma worked at New England Telephone and Merchants National Bank for many years. She was a very progressive woman who took great pride in her working career. She enjoyed being active and socially engaged. She also assisted with and participated in many senior events until very recently.
She was a member of the Hooksettites and AARP.
She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Norman J. Wiggin in 2003 and by two siblings, Edward Jordan and Margaret Crapo.
The family includes a daughter, Mary Mitchell of Dover; three grandchildren, Nathan Mitchell, Derek Mitchell and Jana Pirie; two great grandchildren, Lexi Pirie and Tori Pirie; three siblings, Anna Bisson and Leo Jordan both of Whitefield and Helen Pinard of Whitefield and Florida; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at St. Catherine Church, 267 Webster St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Martin's Ferry Cemetery, 6 Cemetery Rd., Hooksett.
