Norman John Olivier, 73, of Manchester, passed away on March 19, 2026, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Manchester on February 22, 1953, he was the son of Fernand and Cecile (Pope) Olivier.
Prior to retirement, he had worked as a Union Carpenter for his entire career.
He shared a devoted and loving 53-year marriage with his wife, Marlene, who was his partner in all things and the love of his life. Norman loved spending time with his family, especially his grand and great-grandchildren who were the center of his life. He was especially proud to be known as “Papa,” a role he cherished deeply. He took pride working in his yard, spending time camping, four-wheeling and being outdoors.
Family members include his wife, Marlene (Cann) Olivier of Manchester; his daughters, Melanie Lavigne and husband David of Candia, Mindy Poulin and husband Shawn of Laconia; his grandchildren, Desiree Murdock and husband Gary; Haley Lavigne, Marissa Poulin and Shawn Poulin Jr; great-grandchildren, Everett Fontaine, William, Wyatt, Liliana Murdock, and Benjamin Poulin; several siblings, in-laws, nephews and nieces.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester, will be Wednesday from 4 to 6 pm, followed by a service in the funeral home chapel.
