Normand M. Bissonnette

Normand M. Bissonnette, 70, of 10 Colby Ct., Bedford, died April 3, 2003, at his residence, after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester, August 13, 1932, he was the son of Julien and Yvonne (Fortin) Bissonnette. He lived most of his life in Manchester and had been a Bedford resident the past 2 years.

He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Mr. Bissonnette worked for Genest Bakery for 18 years. He also worked as an electrician and maintenance mechanic for Lyon's Iron Works, for 8 years.

He was a member and past president of the Baker's & Confectionery Workers Union, Local 41, and the Teamster's Union, Local 633.

He was married to Jeannette (Hanneman) Bissonnette, who died in 2000.

Family members include 2 sons, Maurice N. Bissonnette, and Paul E. Bissonnette, both of Manchester; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Jane) Wilson of Washington, NH, Mrs. Richard (Susan) Brousseau, and Mrs. Michael (Diane) Mannon, both of Manchester; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Gertrude Janelle of New Boston, and Fernande Bissonnette of Manchester; nieces and nephews.

A committal service was Monday April 7, 2003 at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
