Normande Y. Aubin

   Normande Y. (Simard) Aubin, 93, of Bedford, died June 20, 2023 at her home after a period of declining health.

   She was born in Nashua on January 28, 1930 to Hector and Azilda (Thibeau) Simard.  She graduated from St. Marie High School and Notre Dame de Lourdes School of Nursing in 1952.

   Normande worked as a registered nurse at Notre Dame Hospital and Catholic Medical Center for over 30 years.  She volunteered for many years at Sacred Heart Church on the Bereavement Meal Committee and Boy Scouts Troop 135.  She also volunteered at New Hampshire Food Bank and Mom’s Place at Catholic Medical Center.

   She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Maurice R. Aubin in 2008.

   Normande is survived by four children, Norman Aubin, Lionel Aubin and his wife, Linda Pineault and Ronald Aubin and his wife, Sheila French all of Manchester and Judith Quint of Plattsburg, NY; seven grandchildren, Angela Quint, Clifford Quint and his wife, Tiffany, Justin Aubin, Joseph Aubin, Cody Aubin, Melinda Aubin and Jason Aubin; and two great grandchildren.

   SERVICES:  Calling hours are Friday (6/23) from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday (6/24) at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 265 So. Main St., Manchester.  Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.

   Memorial donations may be made to New Hampshire Food Bank, or Easter Seals of NH.
