She was born in St. Casimir, Ripon, Quebec September 12, 1929 the daughter of Ovila and Eva (Dupuis) Belisle.
She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1948 and pronounced her final vows in 1956.
Sister Odette earned a BA from Notre Dame College in Manchester. She taught French to kindergarten through grade 4 students in New Bedford, MA, Suncook and Manchester, NH She also spent 29 years teaching French to the children of Infant Jesus School in Nashua and served as Sacristan of Holy Infant Jesus Church in Nashua for 26 years. She will always be remembered as a dedicated and loving person.
She leaves her siblings, Euclide, of Lachute, P.Q., Yvon, of Pompano Beach, FL., Rejean of Timmins, Ontario, Therese Belisle of Lachute, Ontario and Marcelle Dumouchel of Ripon, P.Q.; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in the chapel of St. George Manor. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
