Pamela A. Hill

d. June 22, 2013

Pamela A. Hill died peacefully in the early morning of June 22nd at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Hill was born in Manchester, NH in 1943 to Pauline Nadeau (Parker) and William H. Provencher. Her father was in the US Army during WWII and was killed while serving in Italy. Mrs. Hill was raised in this city by her mother and second husband, Henry R. Parker

She was, indeed, a lifelong resident of Manchester and a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish for many years.

Pamela graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1961 and Keene Teachers College in 1965. She taught for several years in the Weare School System but spent most of her time as a homemaker.

The core of Pam's life was her faith in Jesus Christ and his gift of love and salvation, her family and her friends, whom she loved deeply, and the constant circle of pets that filled her home. Over the years she adopted several rescued greyhounds.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Sheldon S. Hill; two children, David Hill and Cathy Hill both of Manchester; a brother, Edward Parker of Manchester; a sister, Susan Goulet of Bedford; her 92 year old mother, Pauline Parker, as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service took place on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Road, Manchester, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123-1718
