Patricia A. Bergeron

She was born in Manchester March 14, 1943 and was the daughter of Stanley and Ruthie (McQuaid) Szumierz. She graduated from Central High School in 1960. She was a lifelong resident of this city and had also summered in Hampton, NH.

Mrs. Bergeron had worked for N.E. Telephone Co., Verizon, and also at the Elliot Hospital in the medical records department.

She was member of St. Pius X Church.

She loved the beach and enjoyed reading, walking and especially spending time with her family.

She leaves her husband of 45 years, John Peter Bergeron of Manchester; two children, Stephen Bergeron and his wife, Kathy, of Portsmouth, NH and Susan Bergeron of Manchester; two grandchildren, Anna and Andrew Bergeron of Portsmouth; a sister, Judith Sarette of Bedford; two brothers, Kenneth Szumierz of Northfield, NH and Alex Szumierz of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, December 12, 2008 at St. Pius X Church. After cremation burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
