Patricia Demers-Peck

Patricia Demers - Peck was born March 26, 1951, in an Army field hospital in Stuttgart Germany. The daughter of Roland and Mary Demers of Manchester N.H. she was brought into the world in war torn Germany, as her Father, an Army Officer, was assigned to that region as part of the post-World War II issues in Europe. During her youth she moved with her family numerous times in the U.S. and in Germany, eventually, settling in Manchester, NH.

Pat was studious receiving her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at Northeastern University, and later an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. She was a retail Pharmacist early in her career then evolving to be a Product Manager in the Pharmaceutical Industry and concluded her career as a Pharmacy Administrator at the Fairfax Hospital, in Falls Church, Va., retiring in 2005.

Pat then met the love of her life, Dr. Charles Peck , a widower with eight children, and began a wonderful new journey in her life, celebrating their 17th anniversary in 2021. Pat was a devoted wife and supported an ever growing family of grandchildren. She always had a kind smile and a twinkle in her bright blue eyes; caring for everyone who she came to know and making the world around her a better place.

She was an accomplished and beautiful snow skier and loved to play golf with her loving husband, Chuck. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Pat. She loved a beautiful sunset, the beach, a good roll with lots of butter, music by Bach and the Beach Boys and anything dipped in chocolate.

Demers family members include her two brothers: Robert Demers (Linda) of Arlington, Virginia and Richard Demers (Karen) of North Wales, Pennsylvania; her two nephews: Benjamin Demers (Andrea) of Milford, Connecticut and James Demers of Alexandria, Virginia. Additional family members are her uncle, Rev. Francis Demers OME PhD of Tewksbury, Massachusetts and aunt, Lorrain Demers of Manchester, New Hampshire, and three cousins Diane, Doreen and Daniel.

Peck family members include her husband, Charles Peck Jr, of Venice, FL, and his eight children: his son Charles Peck III of Vienna VA, his daughter Teresa Teunis (Mark) of Hagerstown, MD, his son W. Mark Peck (Kelly) of Kernersville, NC, his daughter Andrea Carbonell (John) of Damascus, MD, his son Michael Peck (Amber) of Hagerstown, MD, his daughter Erin Cox (Brian) of Charleston, SC, his daughter Megan Sauer (Tom) of Oak Ridge, TN, and his daughter Colleen Peck of New York, NY; and thirteen grandchildren: Jessica Marcusa (Seth), Mark, Eileen, Mary, Molly, Alex, Michael, Kayla, Patrick, Hayden, Thomas, Charles, and Teagan.

She passed away after a brief illness on July 21, 2021. A private gathering will take place for her internment on August 9, 2021 at 10 am at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H., followed by a celebration of life by family and friends at the Puritan Back Room.
