Patricia Louise Duval

July 10, 1935 — August 10, 2021

Patricia Louise (McDermott) Duval (86) of Ocala, FL formerly of Manchester, NH, Northwood, NH, and Bradenton, FL passed peacefully at home surrounded by love and family.

Whether you knew her as Pat, Patsy, Patricia, Aunt, Mom or Nana, you received straight-forward honesty, humor, and genuine love from your treasured relationship. The door to Patricia's home was always open and welcoming, especially on Mammoth Road, or at Northwood Lake; their foundations strengthened by her love of family and lasting friendships. Ever the entertainer, she performed in cabarets and kitchen band parades where she loved the applause, but also enjoyed singing in church choirs.

But her rock and best friend was her husband, Lenny. Their 66-year marriage was filled with joy, hardship, sadness, trouble, compromise and undeniable love. And the many journeys they endured together created the bond that shaped their family

In her life: Patricia graduated from St Joseph's High School in Manchester, NH and furthered her education in her 50's by proudly achieving a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Springfield College.

One of her significant and most hard-earned accomplishment was being 35 years sober and dedicated herself to counseling others experiencing similar life challenges.

A devout Catholic, Patricia was a long-standing member of St. Joseph's Cathedral in Manchester and worked for several years at the Christian Life Center.

Family members include her husband of 66 years, Leonard Duval of Ocala, FL, their children Deborah Duval and her partner David Billups of Ocklawaha, FL, Jeffrey Duval and his wife Karen of Manchester, NH; daughter-in-law Debbie Duval also of Manchester, NH, and Lori LeBlanc of Bedford, NH. Grandchildren are Ryan Remillard and his wife Tiffany and Brett Remillard and his wife Tamela, all of Ocala, FL; Brianne Volpe and her husband Anthony of Tallahassee, FL Stephanie Duval of Manchester, NH and Lex Duval of Nashua, NH, Patricia had 9 great-grandchildren who lit up her life, especially when she needed it most, as well as several nieces and nephews and of course the grand dogs.

She was predeceased by her son, Daniel Duval, granddaughter Kristi LeBlanc, grandson Chad Remillard, her mother Laura (McDermott) and stepfather Armand Laberge.
