Patricia M. (Thompson) Fitzgerald, 86, formerly of Manchester, died May 29, 2018 at Bel-Air Nursing Home in Goffstown after a sudden illness.
She was born in Manchester on March 15, 1932 to Frederick and Lena (Meisel) Thompson Sr. She graduated from Central High School in 1950 and lived in Manchester for most of her life.
Patricia worked for New England Telephone Company for over 40 years. She was a New England Champion candlepin bowler for several years and was an avid fan of all Boston professional sports teams.
She was predeceased by three siblings, Helen Poulin, Peggy Deshler and Frederick Thompson Jr.
The family includes four children, Gary Thompson and wife, Janice, of Northfield, and Scott Thompson and wife, Claire, Robyn Marchwicz and husband, Richard, and Brian Fitzgerald and companion, Christine Lord, all of Manchester; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral ceremony was held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester.
