Born in Springfield, MA on January 28, 1937, she was the daughter of George and Regina (LaCasse) Doyle. She was a graduate of Classical High School in Springfield and of the New Haven School of Nursing in New Haven, CT
She lived in Agawam, MA for many years. She also lived in Englewood, FL and had been living at the home of her daughter in Manchester for the past two years.
Mrs. Goulet worked as a registered nurse at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT for many years.
She traveled extensively throughout the United States in her RV, including a four month trip to Alaska. She enjoyed fishing, living in Florida and her dogs.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Michael Danaher in 1984 and by her second husband, Jean Goulet in 2005.
The family includes a daughter, Diane (Danaher) Lessard of Manchester; five step children, Wayne Goulet of Manchester, Patricia Goulet of Concord, David Goulet of Fiji, and Jeffrey Goulet and Karen Goulet-Vermette both of Manchester; step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
IN HER LIFE: Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were a special part of her life. They are grandchildren, Shanna Bassett, Sarah Nalen and Ryan Lessard and great grandchildren, Haley, Joshua and Chloe.
A memorial service was held Wednesday July 18, 2007 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. Burial was at a later date.
