Patricia "Trish" Kaye Linehan

Patricia “Trish” Kaye Linehan passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, in Manchester, New Hampshire, with her loving son by her side. She was 78 years old. A devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend, Trish will be remembered most for her boundless love, joyful spirit, and the warmth she brought into every room with her beautiful smile and easy charm.

Born on September 25, 1946, in Manchester to John T. Linehan and Katherine Natchez, Trish remained rooted in her hometown throughout her life. She was the loving sister of Scott Linehan who was always by her side. She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help for grammar school, Saint Joseph’s High School for Girls, and graduated from Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene.

Trish’s greatest joy came from the people she loved. She was a proud mother to her sons, Matt and Robbie Dastin, and poured her heart into raising them. Her love extended even more deeply when she became a grandmother “Baba” to Stella and Sutton whose lives she lit up with her warmth, creativity, and unwavering support.

Trish had a gift for creating beauty both in her home and in the lives of those around her. She loved spending time in her garden, transforming her Manchester yard into a lush, vibrant sanctuary. Friends, neighbors, and passersby were often drawn in, welcomed by her kindness and floral artistry. She had an eye for antiques, a flair for design, and an extraordinary talent for making others feel seen and loved.

She especially cherished time spent with her family in Denver, quiet mornings with coffee and conversation, afternoons decorating and evenings filled with laughter. Her home was a haven, cozy, creative, and full of love and her heart was no different. She gave generously and left behind a legacy of compassion, thoughtfulness, and grace.

Trish was preceded in death by her beloved son Robbie. She is survived by her son Matthew Dastin and his wife Suzanne; her adored grandchildren Stella and Sutton Dastin; her brother Scott Linehan; her niece Brooke Linehan; and her great-nephew John Linehan.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the stories we tell, the traditions we carry forward. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manchester Historical Association to continue the legacy and stories of all who call and have called Manchester home.
