Patricia A. (Shea) Manning, 82, of Manchester passed away on March 4, 2016 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Born in Manchester on March 17, 1933, she was the daughter of James B. and Helena (Hamilton) Shea Sr. She attended St. Raphael Grammar School and Manchester West High School.
She was an accomplished gymnast and instructor from the Manchester Turn Verein Hall from 1958 to 1971. She later worked at the Manchester YWCA. Her family would like to thank the staff at the Bedford Hills Center for the wonderful care they provided Patty during her stay there.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Gerald "Gerry" Manning of Manchester; one son, Michael Lemieux and wife Dawn of Groton, NH; one daughter, Charlotte Manning Rivest and husband Theodore of Bristol, NH; brothers, James Shea Jr. of Manchester and David Dark of Coos Bay, OR; her grandchildren, Jessica (Lemieux) Dubois, Joshua Lemieux, Shannon Wharton; four great-grandchildren, Makayla, Layne and Chloe Dubois and Rory Wharton.
