Patricia I. Marsh-Thorell, 69, of Auburn, died peacefully June 21, 2009 at her residence.

She was born in Queens, NY the daughter of Robert and Amy (Irwin) Clark and had resided in Auburn NH for the past 24 years. She also wintered in Stuart Florida for the past 4 years.

Patricia graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. She also graduated from Methodist Hospital of Brooklyn School of Nursing and earned a Bachelor degree from New England College. She worked as a school nurse for the Timberlane and Kearsarge school districts. She was a member of the Granite State Cloggers demonstration team and enjoyed tap dancing. She was an Ambassador to Mount Sunapee Ski Area, Past President of the Auburn Fire Association, Past President of New Hampshire Nurses' Association and was named New Hampshire School nurse of the year in 1995.

She leaves her husband of 16 years, George Thorell of Auburn; a daughter, Kimberly Olsen of Louden NH; a son, Andrew Marsh of Lawrence MA.; six step-children, Jonathon Marsh of Roslin Heights, NY, Vicky Arnold of N. Hampton MA, Michelle Terry of Omaha NE, Terri Marsh of Washington DC, Sheana Thorell of Newmarket NH, and Adam Thorell of Bellingham MA; four grandchildren, Rachel Caldwell, Bradley Caldwell, Meghan Thorell, and Evan Thorell; two sisters, Linda Lawsen of Moorsville, NC and Bonnie Torre of Ashburn, VA

A memorial service took place on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Lambert funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St. corner of North St., Manchester.
