Patricia (Taylor) Sullivan, 86, of Bedford, NH died December 21, 2020 after a period of declining health.
Born in the Bronx, NY on March 17, 1934, she was the daughter of Charles and Lucia (Constantino) Taylor. She lived most of her childhood in Highland, NY and was raised by her maternal grandmother, Domenica Papandrea Costantino. Pat attended Highland, NY schools and graduated from Vassar College of Nursing in 1955.
Over the course of her career as a registered nurse, Pat worked in hospitals in New York and Connecticut. After raising her two children, she returned to leadership roles at nursing care facilities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Among her professional accomplishments, Pat was one of the youngest nurses ever to supervise an emergency room in the state of New York.
Patricia was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, her husband's extended family, and, with the many friends she made over the years through many moves. Pat was an excellent cook, a natural athlete and a talented singer and musician. She was as fun-loving a person as she was a ready caregiver to the many needing her service and sacrifice. She was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Leonard Charles Sullivan in 2018, and Uncles: Frank, Anthony, Joseph, Dominick and John and Aunts: Lucy, Jean, Helen and Theresa.
Family members include one daughter, Maureen Doyle of Bedford; one son, Michael and wife Laura (Michaud) Sullivan of Aldie, VA; her grandchildren, Seamus Doyle of Boston, Michael D. and Claire E. Sullivan, both of VA; several nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at a later date.
