Patrick E. Hayes

Patrick Hayes, 36 years old, of Hooksett, NH courageously won his battle with cystic fibrosis on January 15, 2010 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston surrounded by his loving fiancee "wife" Jenny Cottreau, his "mom" Susan Paul, his "brother" Ethan Paul, his future in-laws Bernie and Myrna Cottreau and his future sister-in-law Melissa Tremblay.

Patrick was born in Manchester on March 14, 1973 to Earl and Ethel Hayes. He will be remembered for his life-long struggle with cystic fibrosis and his amazing will to live. He was an angel among us and dedicated much of his time to helping others with this disease.

Patrick is predeceased by his mother Ethel Hayes and both sets of grandparents. He is survived by his father Earl Hayes, his fiancee "wife" Jenny Cottreau, future in-laws Bernie and Myrna Cottreau, future sister-in-law Melissa Tremblay and her husband Bryan, his mom Susan Paul; brothers Steven Paul and his wife Linda, Ethan Paul and his wife Elizabeth, Andrew Paul and his wife Susan; sisters, Katherine, Karen, Sandra and Lauri; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his extended family at the Elliot Hospital Respiratory Department, Elliot Pediatrics, Brigham & Women's Transplant and ICU teams as well as countless friends who loved him very much.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in the funeral home chapel.
