Paul A. Laliberte, 83, of Manchester died December 18, 2016, at Frisbee Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Manchester on July 31, 1933 to Lucien and Diana Laliberte. Paul graduated from Bishop Bradley High School in 1952 and earned his Associate Degree in accounting from NH College. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Paul served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954. He worked as an accountant for Longo's and C.A. Hoitt Furniture Stores before retiring in 1995. He was a member of Sweeney Post, American Legion, and Precious Blood Monastery League of 1000 Men.
Paul enjoyed spending time walking, jigsaw puzzles, and latch hook. He also was an avid sports fan. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Family includes his beloved wife of 63 years, Rita M. (Labbe) Laliberte; four daughters, Doris Laliberte, Denise Normand and husband Tom, Doreen Shore and husband Jeff, and Paula Neveu and husband Phil; one son, Paul N. Laliberte and wife Sylvie; six grandchildren, Ian, Tommy, Joshua, Kris, Rachel, and Blayne; three great grandchildren, Tommy D., Bridgette, and Joshua Paul; and one brother, Robert Laliberte. He was predeceased by seven siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 267 Webster St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
