Paul A. Boisvert, 93, of Manchester, died September 23, 2014 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center after a period of failing health surrounded by his family

He was born in Manchester, January 21, 1921, the son of Almon and Alice (Montplaisir) Boisvert and was a lifelong resident of this city.

Paul served in the US Army during World War II. Having fought in the European Theater, including the Battle of the Bulge.

He owned and operated Paul's Auto Body on Manchester's West Side for many years.

He enjoyed singing, dancing, swimming and had coached the NH Special Olympics Swim Team as well as having participated in Senior Olympics. He had also been active with the Central High School Football program.

Paul was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church where he sang in the church choir.

He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Evelyn (Richards) Boisvert who died in 2005.

He leaves four children, Paula Winterton of Hooksett, Barbara Pariseau of Manchester, John P. Boisvert of Weare, and Richard T. Boisvert of Hooksett; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial, with military honors, followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
