Paul R. Cardin

He was born in Manchester on March 17, 1945, the son of Paul R. and Gloria (Ball) Cardin, Sr. He was a graduate of Bishop Bradley High School and earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from New Hampshire College in 1971.

After graduating from Bradley in 1963, Paul enlisted in the US Navy and was honorably discharged after 4 years of active duty service.

He was employed in the accounting field for many years and was the controller for Triesman's in Manchester. He was a local business owner and also enjoyed sales.

Paul was an avid chess player, great fisherman, and loved spending time outdoors.

He is survived by his children, Stephanie Cardin Burkhart of California, Christine Cardin Manning of Londonderry, Paul Cardin of Bedford, and Kimberly Cardin of Bedford; several grandchildren; his mother of Goffstown; his brothers, Mark Cardin and Russell Cardin, both of Manchester; his sister, Sue Powers of Weare; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Gary Powers and sister-in-law, Clare Cardin.

The funeral service was held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
