Paul E. St. Cyr, 82, of Milford died September 24, 2003 at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester on June 30, 1921, he was the son of Josaphat and Marie Anna (Beaudet) St. Cyr. He was educated in the Manchester school system, then lived most of his life in Manchester and Hooksett before moving to Milford.
He was superintendent of Pembroke Water Works, then worked for Manchester Water Works. He retired from Kalwall Corporation.
Mr. St. Cyr was a musician, drummer and vocalist with the Mel-O-Tones band. He had been active with the Boy Scouts and the Red Cross.
He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Manchester and was active in that church's Fun Over Fifty Group.
He was predeceased by a son, Richard L. St. Cyr in 2001.
The family includes his wife of 62 years, Gertrude I. (Duquette) St. Cyr of Milford; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Pauline) Boisvert of Hudson and Mrs. Mark (Denise) Cedras of Milford with whom he resided; a brother, John St. Cyr and his wife Lucille of Port Charlotte, FL; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The funeral was Friday September 26, 2003 in First Assembly of God Church, 227 Londonderry Turnpike, Manchester. After cremation, burial was in Head Cemetery, Hooksett.
