Paul R. Farley

Paul R. Farley, 87, of 472 Coolidge Ave, died April 3, 2006 after a period of declining health.

He was born in Manchester, NH, on July 2, 1918, the son of Attorney Ferdinand and Maria (Malenfant) Farley and was a lifelong resident of the area.

During WWII he served in the US Army in Europe. During the Korean War he served in the US Navy CB's (Seabees).

Prior to retirement, he worked many years at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company. He had also worked for the NH State Liquor Commission prior to retirement in 1981.

Mr. Farley was a Third Degree Knight of Columbus Council 92 and a Fourth Degree Knight of Bishop Bradley Assembly of Manchester, NH (inactive). He was a member of the Last Man Club of World War II at the American Legion Wm. H. Jutras Post #43.

He was a communicant of St. Patrick Church.

Members of his family include his wife of 65 years, Cecile (Daneau) Farley of Manchester; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Gabrielle) Seibert of Greenland, NH and their children, Stephanie Pasakarnis, Egon Seibert, Elisabeth Charpentier, Andrew Seibert, Christian Seibert, Katherine Gould, Larry Seibert Jr, and Barbara Seibert, and Mrs. Brian (Carmen) Stefanik of Manchester and their two daughters, Jenna and Jillian Stefanik; nephews and nieces; He was predeceased by two brothers, Louis Farley and Roger Farley and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Ann) Samson and Mrs. Felix (Louise) Villemure;

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Patrick Church on Saturday April 8, 2006. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd.
