Paul P. Gaudet

Paul P. Gaudet, 77, of Manchester died February 9, 2007 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a long illness.

Born in Boston, MA on January 17, 1930, he was the son of Henry and Irene (Hulbert) Gaudet. He grew up in Nova Scotia and lived many years in Brookline before moving to Manchester 15 years ago.

Mr. Gaudet worked as an engineer for Polaroid Corporation in Waltham, MA for many years. In retirement, he owned and operated the Mountain View Campground in Morrisville, VT for many years.

He was a communicant of St. Marie Church and was a member of the Sacred Heart-St. Marie Cancer Support Ministry

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and traveling.

He was predeceased by a son, David K. Gaudet in 2006.

The family includes eight children, Joanne Sousa of Taunton, MA, Paula Armando of Myrtle Beach, SC, James P. Gaudet of Middleboro, MA, Denise Kotlik of Stoughton, MA, Stephanie Bonno of Scituate, MA, Debra Gaudet of Rumford, ME, Laureen MacLean of Brookline and Jeffrey Gaudet of Northfield, VT; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two sisters, Theresa Gaudet of Somerville, MA and Elizabeth Gustafson of Batavia, OH; two brothers, Lawrence Gaudet of Gualala, CA and Joseph Gaudet of Burlington, Ontario; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday February 13, 2007 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester.

Spring burial was in Hunt Cemetery in Tunbridge, VT
