Paul J. Graham, 80, of Deerfield died October 15, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on June 23, 1937, he was the son of Harry and Catherine (Cushman) Graham, but raised by a very special foster mom, Hazel Venner of Derry. Paul was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy and several trade schools. He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1956 to 1960 and was employed as a Service Technician for 37 years.
Paul enjoyed playing tennis, golf, vacationing in St. Maarten with Claire, and hosting his hunting buddies. He loved watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He especially enjoyed teaching his grandkids to fish, golf and putter with wood working projects. He had a passion for ice cream and a good game of cribbage and was always telling jokes. Paul was a member of the Deerfield Fair Association. He will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, "Bumpa", and friend.
His immediate family includes his wife of 55 years, Claire M. (Labbe) Graham of Deerfield; a daughter Donna Schesser and husband Scott of Manchester; a son, Derek Graham and significant other Sarah Elliot-Graham of Rochester; four grandkids, Sydney Jane, Daniel, Michael and Emily Rose; and one sister Cissie O'Connor. He was predeceased by four other siblings.
A Celebration of Paul's life was held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Deerfield Community Church. Lambert Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
