He was born in Methuen, MA, May 29, 1931, and was the son of Alfred J. and Emma (Dubreuil) LaRoche. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA. and had been a resident of Manchester most of his life.
He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1954.
Mr. LaRoche was a master carpenter and had worked for Davidson, Caron, and Harvey Construction Companies and was a member of the Carpenters Union.
He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He liked traveling and loved New England sports teams. He especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.
Family members include his wife of 52 years, Theresa (Marcoux) LaRoche, of Manchester; two daughters, Michelle Lando, of Carlisle, MA, and Marie LaRoche, of Goffstown; two sons, Michael LaRoche, of Sterling, MA, and Mark LaRoche, of Hampton Falls; 9 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday January 28, 2008 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104.
