Paul R Demers, 67, of Goffstown, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2022, at his residence.

 

Born in Grasmere on February 7, 1955, he was the son of Constance (Duval) Demers and her late husband, Arthur Demers.  He was a graduate of Manchester Central High School and owned and operated Pidela Corporation for 33 years before retiring in 2019.

 

Paul loved to play golf.  He was a member of a golf league at Stonebridge Country Club and also enjoyed spending time with his family.  Paul was also an avid pickleball player as well.  He enjoyed spending time at the beach in Florida.  Paul was extremely charismatic and had a great sense of humor.  He was very patient, kind and generous.  His passion was his family whom he loved with his whole heart.  Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend.

 

Family members include his beloved wife of 48 years, Phyllis D. (Lacroix) Demers of Goffstown; two sons James P. Demers of Manchester, and Anthony M. Demers and wife Jennifer of Newfields; his mother Constance Demers of Hooksett; and two brothers, Arthur “Pete” Demers and wife Ginger of Deerfield and Maurice Demers of Manchester. Several nieces, nephews & cousins. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Arthur Demers.

 

Services:  Calling hours are from 5 pm to 7pm on Tuesday at Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St, Manchester, NH 03104.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday at St. Lawrence Church 1 E. Union St., Goffstown, NH 03045.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, NH 03104.
