Paul R. Remillard, 68, of Manchester, NH died suddenly doing one of the sports he loved most October 24, 2021.
Born in Manchester, NH on July 13, 1953, he was the youngest of four children of Paul F. and Lumina (Levasseaur) Remillard. He resided in the Queen City all of his life.
Paul is a graduate of St. Theresa Elementary School and Manchester Memorial High School, class of 1971. He was employed at the Manchester Osram Sylvania for forty years where he started the Sylvania Hiking Club. He finished his working years at Mill City Roasters in Londonderry, NH.
He will be remembered for his love of family, friends, and the outdoors. Paul gathered all who would join him to ski, mountain bike, hike, and fish, making new friends and sharing his passions. He wanted everyone to experience the thrill of the trails. Anchored by his Roman Catholic faith, young Paul was an altar server at St Theresa Parish and grew into a devoted husband, father, and pépère. Those who knew him will be forever touched by his kindness, generosity, faithfulness, and passion for adventure.
Family members include his beloved wife of forty-four years, Doreen D. (Pouliot) Remillard, his daughters, Corinne Remillard-Sargent and husband Brandon, Cheryl Hebert and husband Brandon, and his son, Craig and wife Gemma, his grandchildren, Jonathan, Phoebe, Nolan, Stella, and Remi. He will also be greatly missed by his siblings, Elaine Tremblay, Diane Remillard, and Francis Remillard, many brothers and sisters in-law, nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and his father in-law, Robert L. Pouliot.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 207 Hemlock St, Manchester. Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
