Born in Manchester on August 22, 1922 he was the son of Fortunat and Josephine (Dionne) Robert.
He was educated in the Manchester school system and was a lifelong resident of the city.
From 1945-49 Mr. Robert was employed as a foreman for North Eastern Engineering in Manchester. In 1949 he co-founded the Food Engineering Inc. of Manchester. Later he was employed as a production supervisor for Sylvania Electric of Hillsboro and as a foreman for ITT Industries in Lawrence, MA. Following retirement Paul worked as a courier for Altex Uniform in Manchester.
Mr. Robert was a communicant of St. Pius X Parish.
He was an avid boater and camper summering for 30 years at the family campground in Ossipee, NH. He was a classic car enthusiast and an amateur inventor. Mr. Robert was a devoted family man.
Family members include his wife of 64 years Cleo B. Robert of Manchester; 2 sons, Justin P. Robert of Raymond and Gary P. Robert of Manchester; 2 daughters, Brenda J. Goodreau of Milford and Paula A. James of Concord; one brother, Leon Robert of White River Jct., VT; 3 sisters, Dinah Thibeault of Manchester, Monica Donnelly of St. Petersburg, FL and Betty Gagnon of Manchester; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday March 19, 2007 at St. Pius X Church. A committal service followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
