Paul D. Roy, 52, of Goffstown, NH died at his home March 10, 2017 after a period of failing health.
He was born in Manchester December 17, 1964 the son of Ronald L. and Madeleine (Provost) Roy. He lived in Manchester many years before moving to Goffstown 11 years ago.
Paul was a graduate of West High School, New Hampton School, Northeastern University, and earned an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
He was Chief Financial Officer for Bellwether Credit Union in Manchester.
Paul was a Board Member and Finance Committee Chair for the American Red Cross; Board Member and Supervisory Chair for TriCrop Federal Credit Union; Social Responsibilities Committee member for the New Hampshire Credit Union League; and Charity Golf Tournament Chairman for Make-A-Wish NH. He also served on the Golf Committee for the Manchester Chamber of Commerce and was a volunteer for New Horizon's Soup Kitchen.
Paul enjoyed golfing, hockey, boating, and especially spending time with family at Ossipee Lake.
He leaves his wife of 22 years, Jeanine (Hibbard) Roy of Goffstown; two children, Alexis N. Roy and Garrett C. Roy, both of Goffstown; his father, Ronald L. Roy of Center Ossipee; two sisters, Michelle Savrann and husband Stephen of Sharon, MA and Lisa A. Roy of Manchester; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester, NH.
