Paulette T. Jacques

Paulette T. (Gaudreault) Jacques, 85 of Manchester, died on April 25, 2026, at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Manchester NH, on August 3, 1940, and was the daughter of Harmel and Cecile (Dunn) Gaudreault. She spent her formative years in St. Joseph Orphanage, Nashua, NH and graduated from Central High School in Manchester NH.

She worked for many years at TJ Maxx in Manchester and was known by many customers for her friendly demeanor and quick-witted humor. She later worked for the City of Manchester as a custodian at Central High School until she opened her own cleaning business, Paulette Jacques Cleaning, LLC., specializing in service to local doctors’ offices in the Greater Manchester area.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Donald L. Jacques of Manchester (2009) and her brother Armand Gaudreault of Manchester.

 She is survived by her brother Ronald Gaudreault of New Boston, son Philip J. Jacques of Auburn, daughter-in-law Eve Jacques and a grandson Damien Jacques of Hudson as well as her special family, Celeste and Todd Bailey, and their three children, Matthew, Alyssa and Michael, and many nieces and nephews.

She was a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Church and most recently Saint. Anthony of Padua Church in Manchester. She had a strong faith and generous heart and a genuine “joie de vivre”. 

She was a proud and loving wife, sister, aunt & grandmother and beloved mother to all in her life. She was well known for her “spanky” attitude, quick wit and sarcastic humor that would leave those around her crying with laughter. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed going out to breakfast, days on the beach and playing cards. Her and Donald regularly travelled to Hawaii and Aruba.

A funeral mass will be held on May 1, 2026, 11am at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 172 Belmont St, Manchester, NH 03103 with a Christian burial to follow will be celebrated at Mount Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd, Manchester, NH, United States, 03102 where she will be laid to rest by her family and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a veteran’s organization of your choosing. 

If flowers are sent please be sure they are sent to Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104 by Thursday afternoon to be delivered to the church on Friday.
