Paulette A. (Arel) Pouliot, 91, of Manchester, died December 3, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Manchester on August 22, 1931, she was the daughter of Laurier and Lucille (Gaudette) Arel.  She grew up in Manchester and was educated at St. Therese’s Grammar School and graduated from St. George’s High School.

Paulette was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Theresa and St. Catherine Parishs in Manchester. Her family and friends cherish the hundreds of handmade mementos she made, all stitched with love.  She was a longtime member of the Heritage Quilters Guild.  Above all else, she cherished time spent with family and loved hosting family gatherings, particularly the annual backyard lobster bake.

Paulette and her husband, Bob, also enjoyed traveling.  They made many trips around the United States and Canada and spent their winters in Florida after retirement. The highlight of their travels were visits to the Caribbean, France, and Rome.

Prior to retirement, she had been the office manager at Waynes Mobile Glass in Manchester for several years.  Previously, she had worked as a bookkeeper for Schwartz Trucking Company.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Pouliot in 2012, siblings, Raymond, Robert, Ramsey, and Richard Arel and Cecile Lefebvre, and son-in-law, Paul Remillard.

Family members include her children, Doreen D. Remillard of Manchester, Diane L. Cooley of Dover, Nicole D. Clegg and husband Edward of Manchester, Mary Ann C. Skersey and husband Mark of Goffstown, Roch R. Pouliot and wife Sandy of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Jennifer Driscoll, Corinne Sargent, Craig Remillard, Cheryl Hebert, Ryan Pouliot, Ashley Pouliot, Kayla Parenti, Seth Heustis, Alyssa Heustis, Nathan Clegg and Emily Clegg; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marcelle Bernier and husband Richard of Oceanside, CA, Denise DeBrou of Saskatoon, Canada; nephews, nieces and cousins.
