Pauline Blouin 91, of Atkinson, NH passed away peacefully at Alliance Rest Home at Marie Ester in Marlboro, MA on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
Born in Rumford, ME, Pauline was the youngest of fifteen children of Edmond and Bernadette (Blanchette) Pomerleau. She attended the Academy of St. Chretienne in Salem, MA, where she obtained her teaching credentials.
Pauline married Lionel Blouin, also from Rumford, ME on September 6, 1965. They had three children. Pauline was primarily a stay-at-home mother raising her children, eventually becoming a manager for the Mothercare retailer at the Mall of New Hampshire after her family resettled in Manchester, NH.
Pauline loved to play cards and share stories with family and friends. She would never say ‘no’ to an ice-cold beer.
She is predeceased by her husband, Lionel (1995), her parents and thirteen siblings.
Pauline is survived by her son, Felix Blouin and his wife, Toni of Atkinson NH; two daughters, Monique Blouin and her husband, Jim Turk of Kalamazoo MI, and Michelle Blouin of Manchester NH; a sister, Sr. Evelyn Pomerleau of Marlboro, MA and many beloved brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Rd, Manchester from 10-12pm on Friday, April 26, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Pius X. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish to make a donation in Pauline’s name, the family requests that they be made to the Sisters of St. Chretienne, 720 Boston Post Rd, Marlboro MA, 01752.
