Pauline C. D'Orazio, 94, of Manchester, died at her residence following a period of declining health, on February 25, 2021, carefully attended to by many family members.
Born in Manchester on May 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Florida (Turgeon) Laplante. She was a graduate of St. Anthony High School and of NH School of Accounting. Pauline was a lifelong resident of the Queen City and loyal member of St. Anthony Parish for 70 years. She worked as a bookkeeper for Dobles Chevrolet for 27 years before retiring in 1991.
Pauline enjoyed going dancing, making puzzles, planting flowers, collecting myriads of family photos, traveling with family members to many places in the USA, Quebec, and even to Italy and Portugal. Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted, loving and generous woman to her children, grandchildren, great grand-children, and her many nieces and nephews.
Surviving family members include her two sons, George D'Orazio and wife Linda of Manchester and Paul D'Orazio of San Francisco, CA; four grandchildren, Maria Rose and companion Sylvain Gilbert of Nashua, Rev. John D'Orazio of Rome, Michel D'Orazio and wife Amy Muzarol of Manchester, and Marc D'Orazio and wife Elizabeth of Hopkinton; seven great grandchildren, Angela, Isabella, and Collin D'Orazio, Janet and Sarah Rose; and Raphael and Angelina D'Orazio; one brother, John Laplante and wife Ginger of Canterbury; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by both parents; one brother, Frederick Laplante; and three sisters, Marcelle Beneat, Sr. Therese Laplante, and Irene Yurksaitis.
SERVICES: Calling hours with masks and strict social distancing will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, March 4th at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03103. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, on Friday, March 5th, at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St., Manchester, NH 03102.
