Pauline Eugenie Peloquin Dube, 92, of Merrimack, NH, died November 18, 2023 at Villa Crest Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
She was born in Ware, Massachusetts on August 2nd, 1931, oldest daughter of Gilberte V. and Ulderic J. Peloquin of Manchester. She was a graduate of Manchester Central High School, Class of 1949. She was a resident of Merrimack for many years.
She worked as a Secretary for Charles F. Rittenhouse, and Sears and Roebuck, in Manchester after high school graduation, until her marriage to Ronald Bertrand Dube, of Manchester, in 1953. She then worked as Secretary and Bookkeeper for the family business, O.E. Dube & Son Artesian Wells.
In addition to managing the back office of the well drilling business, Pauline was devoted to her family. She was a gentle, loving Mother to her nine children. She loved all babies, and doted over her twelve grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was a wonderful cook of simple, hearty meals. Her Thanksgiving dinners for our large family were the highlight of the season.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald B. Dube, and son, Andre O. Dube of Nashua, NH, her brothers: Robert A. Peloquin of Ft. Washington, MD, and Richard P. Peloquin, of Rockville,MD; and daughter-in-law, Cheryl E. Smith Dube, wife of Marc R. Dube, of Manchester.
Pauline is survived by her sister, Jeannine Foote and husband, James, of LaVerne, CA, her brother, Ronald G. Peloquin and wife, Pamela, of Troy, VA. Her surviving children are Marc R. Dube of Manchester, David R. Dube of Merrimack, Jocelyne Elmore and husband Eugene of Cumming, GA, Daniel R. Dube and wife Cheryl of Colebrook, NH, Paul R. Dube and wife Tracey of Epsom, NH, Pierre Dube and wife Gayle of Jaffrey, NH, Nicole E. Dube of Cumming, GA, and Jean M. Dube and wife Stephanie of Jacksonville, FL, twelve grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30th at 11 am in the chapel at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
