Pauline T. (Robidas) Duclos, 77, of Manchester, died March 19, 2005, at the Veterans Administration Nursing Home in Manchester, after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester, October 19, 1927, she was a daughter of Alphonse and Ernestine (Lapointe) Robidas. The family moved to Nashua where she attended Infant Jesus Grammar School, and St. Louis de Gonzague High School.
She worked for International Shoe Co for several years and also at N.E. Telephone Co. prior to enlisting in the US Army. She retired from the Army January 28, 1970 after 20 years of service and returned to Manchester.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony Church. She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 1624 and the Disabled American Veterans. She was an avid 10-pin bowler and was a past president and board member of the Women's Bowling League.
She leaves a brother, Robert A. Robidas of Manchester; two sisters, Simonne A. Gosselin of Dover, and Lucille C. Robidas of Manchester; an aunt, Marie Plante of Manchester; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Maurice Robidas, and a sister, Jeannette Tremblay.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday March 23, 2005 at St. Anthony Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
