She was born in Manchester May 22, 1933 to Ernest and Yvonne (Gentes) Tremblay.
She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1952 and made her final profession in 1959. She served the Congregation for 59 years.
She earned a BA degree from Notre Dame College in 1970.
Sr. Tremblay served as an elementary school teacher for 23 years and had been stationed in Rochester, NH; North Grosvenordale, CT; New Bedford, MA; St. Albans, VT; and Groton, CT. In 1977 she moved to Brandon, FL where she worked as an elementary school teacher, a registrar and later a media assistant in the school. Five months ago, due to serious illness, Sr. Pauline was transferred to the Holy Cross Health Center in Manchester
She leaves three sisters, Doris Simard of Valrico, FL, Theresa Turner of Mulberry, FL, and Sister Cecile Tremblay, CSC of Jaffrey, NH; a brother, Marcel Tremblay of Gorham, NH; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four siblings, Sr. Irene Tremblay, CSC, Sr. Lorraine Tremblay, CSC, Rev. Jean Tremblay and Ernest Tremblay Jr.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in the chapel of St. George Manor. Burial was in St. Augustin Cemetery.
