Pearl I. Gilbert

She was born in Nashua on April 25, 1936, the daughter of Alfred and Vitaline (Tessier) McEvoy. She was educated in the Nashua school system.

Prior to retirement as an inspector, she had been employed for 28 years with Summit Packaging.

Pearl enjoyed visiting the casino and cherished the time spent with her family.

Her family members include her husband of 55 years, Alfred A. Gilbert, Sr. of Manchester; her children, Suzanne Samson and her husband Richard of Manchester, Gail Murphy and her husband Dennis of Goffstown, Lisa Simoneau and her companion Dan Courtney of Manchester, Alfred Gilbert Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Hollis; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wilfred McEvoy of Woburn, MA and Raymond McEvoy of Nashua; nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Funeral services were private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Patient Activities Fund at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, 400 Mast Road, Goffstown, NH 03045.
