She was born in Manchester on October 12, 1924 to Joseph and Delvina (Senneville) Lessard. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Pearl worked at Chicopee Mills and Velcro USA, both in Manchester, for many years. She was a longtime communicant at the former St. Theresa Church in Manchester.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alban J. Levasseur in 1993 and by her brother, Alfred Lessard.
The family includes three children, Raymond J. Levasseur and his wife, Patricia, Jean E. Levasseur and his wife, Kim, and Claire M. Levasseur and her life partner, Rick Lessard, all of Manchester; eight grandchildren, Jeanne Hicks, Pamela Johnston, Nickolas, Chelsea and Brittany Levasseur, and Patrick, Allison and Benjamin Helie; six great grandchildren; and her loving and devoted caregiver, Almira Selimovic.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Nursing Homes Without Walls and VNA Hospice for the care they provided to Pearl.
A funeral ceremony was held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester.
