Peggy L. Gingras

December 1, 1972 — April 17, 2024

Manchester, NH

The Family of Peggy Gingras, 51, of Manchester, are sad to announce that their wonderful and beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother passed away on April 17, 2024 at Elliott Hospital after fighting a courageous battle, surrounded by her whole family that will miss her terribly.

Peg was born in Manchester on December 1, 1972.   She attended Memorial High School before opening and operating several businesses, painting companies and the Stepping Out Lounge all in Manchester.

Peggy was a hugely creative person and could make anything for anyone and leave people speechless with the results.  She loved DIY home repairs and regularly updating her entire home and having beautiful results. She also was an avid gardener and loved planting trees, shrubs, plants and flowers to make her home more warm and cozy.

For her closest friends, she would create masterpieces of various baby gifts that were 100% useable baby necessities, in cases they were so beautiful people did not want to disassemble them to use the gifts as intended.

Peggy took pride in her family and loved spending time with them, as well as her friends.   She loved riding motorcycles, scooters, building things and swimming. She also loved antiques and unique things for her home decor.

Along with her beauty came intelligence.  She attended Hesser College and Manchester Community College, working toward a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Peggy was the most giving and selfless person anyone would ever meet, doing anything for anyone without looking for anything in return. She shared her home with several pets including dogs, cats and other animals.

She is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Alexis Elizabeth Soucy and Maranda Marie Gingras and three beautiful grandbaby boys, that she adored immensely and gave her world for them.

SERVICES: There are no services planned at this time. A celebration of life will take place at a future date and will be announced on Peggy’s family and friends Facebook pages. Stories and happy memories of her life can be shared at that time.

Memorial donations may be made to Breathe NH and mailed to 145 Hollis St., Unit C, Manchester, NH 03101, or online at www.breathenh.org

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements.
